AER declines help to reduce backlog

The Backlog

With about 4000 application data orders pending, the AER data order fulfillment department now has a very large backlog.

While we can fill most of your applications orders on demand through AppIntel, the applications you order directly from the AER are taking a very long time. Applications requests are still taking thirty days for the AER to fill.

Industry started ordering large quantities of applications from the AER earlier this year. That's because applications contain insights into others' solutions to difficult problems. Applications also show the potential of land under consideration for acquisition.

Unfortunately the large number of orders has created a huge backlog at the AER. They usually promise delivery within 3 business days. But now they deliver in about a month.

Imagine waiting a month to decide if an acquisition candidate is worthwhile. In most cases, waiting a month makes the information worthless. The cost of waiting is huge.

Our offer to the AER declined

Since we’re very fast at filling orders, we offered to help the AER fill their application attachment orders. By doing so, we had hoped to help them reduce their backlog to two weeks. Unfortunately the AER has declined our offer. Their backlog delivery time still stands at 30 days.
